Bosch Bearing Service Kit and Installation

£200.00Price
  • Do you have noisy drive side bearings on your Bosch powered ebike or simply want to install new and upgraded bearings?

In most cases attention to the drive side bearings will cure a noisy motor.

We now have a Bosch approved and supplied service kit for generation 2 Bosch E-Bike motors with noisy / worn drive side bearings or as a bearing upgrade.

The kit when installed by us comes with a 2 year parts warranty.

A great solution for out of warranty bikes with the Bosch eBike Systems

The comprehensive kit includes: Cover (incl. seal, bearing, freewheel) drive gear, gear grease, cover screws, bearing pin with rubber collared bush and protective disc

Price includes motor delivery back to you. Full Bosch diagnostics are ran prior to and post installation.

We have options for you to send your motor to us or your whole bike (please note that bikes have to be delivered and collected in person, not via courier, only motors can be send via courier)

n.b. this is for 2nd generation Bosch e- bike motors only

n.b. this service kit is for driveside bearings only,

Bosch currently do not support the replacement of the non driveside bearings.

By changing the L/H side (non driveside) bearing, there is high probability of damaging the torque sensor, which can lead to the ebike ghosting.

If you remove the L/H bearings then the torque sensor has to be removed.

The torque sensor is tested and calibrated in what Bosch call an “end of line test” at the production facility.

If you remove it, it’s not possible to check the calibration after refitting it....even if the paint is aligned across the nut and torque sensor shaft.)

This service is for bikes outside of warranty only!

If your bike is still under warranty then please contact us for warranty work information.

(please note that if the test bed and software tests indicate that the service kit cannot be installed then the motor will be returned to you without repair unless we agree upon an alternative action plan and costs. In this case our charge will be £50 which includes return carriage (in this instance the difference will be refunded to you.

Please note that you are responsible for getting the motor to us safely. Please use an insured and trackable service. We can return to mainland UK only for this price. Other destinations can be quoted for.
